BA announce private jet service
20.06.10
BA customers flying in North America and the Caribbean now have access to a private jet service. The airline has joined forces with private aviation company CitationAir, owned by private jet maker Cessna, to offer its PrivateConnect service to passengers, who can now have pay-as-you-fly access to its fleet of planes.
BA customers simply have to register online to be given access to a dedicated phone line that allows them to book a private jet flight. There are no long-term commitment and no up front fees normally associated with private jet travel. However, users must either be employed by a business that holds a BA corporate account, in a BA Executive Club programme or have flown with BA in the last 12 months.
