Beijing overtakes Heathrow

Beijing International Airport has overtaken Heathrow as the world's second busiest in terms of passenger seat capacity. The Chinese airport is now second to Atlanta Hartsfield in the US according aviation analyst OAG. However, Heathrow remains the world's busiest international airport, as both Atlanta and Beijing have a much higher proportion of domestic passengers.
