Electric car charging points for Heathrow car parks

Heathrow has installed electric vehicle charge points at a number of its car parks as part of a collaboration with Transport for London. Passengers with electric cars can now charge them at the short stay car parks at Heathrow Terminals 1, 3, 4, and 5. Each have two charging points serving four parking spaces.
The charge points were introduced as part of the 'Source London' programme launched by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. The scheme has already added 150 new new public electric vehicle charging points to London's network and is expected to deliver 1300 publicly accessible charge points by 2013.
